 Lyn worked for Boeing-Rocketdyne in Canoga Park, CA for 20 years as a writer/editor. She edited proposals, reports, presentations, papers, brochures, specifications–commercial and military. For commercial copy, she edited and proofread using AP Style Guide.  For proposals, she ensured compliance to RFPs were met. Familiar with Mil Specs. Spec’d art and text and when needed, helped with production (corrected art and text in MS Word and PowerPoint). Coordinated with engineers, graphics, desktop publishers, photo and repro. Edited various proposals such as International Space Station, National AeroSpace Plane (NASP), Dynamic Isotope Power System (DIPS), RS-68, etc.  She received the President's Award for working on the Space Station (ISS) Proposal.  Was a team participant in the Boeing Synergy Team for Proposals. Sent documents to print electronically. Performed a quality control check on documents after printing.

Lyn performs on-line editing by using tracking changes for proposals, reports, manuals, brochures, presentations, specifications, technical papers, books, etc. She also does copy layout using MS Word with frames for graphics and text as needed. Uses MS Word, PowerPoint, some Excel and some PhotoShop. Logs and spec's text & graphics to required specifications. 

She does virtual editing for clients in California, Florida, Texas, and Colorado, and creates brochures for clients in Texas. 

Lyn creates the workbooks (manuals) for her classes.

When you need editing, send your copy by e-mail (pasword protect if a sensivie document) or provide a CD with the information.  It will be edited using tracking changes in MS Word (MS Word 2007 and 2010 and documents can be saved to MS Word 2003). This way you can see what was changed or altered and decide if you want to accept, reject, or possibly reword.
